The Organisation for Early Literacy Promotion (www.oelp.org) is committed to being transparent in handling the information shared with OELP and we endeavour to comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws in the territories within which OELP operates. This policy is subject to change and thus you are advised to regularly visit the Privacy Policy page of OELP to keep abreast with any modifications to the same. It must be noted that this Privacy Policy exclusively applies to OELP and by signing up as a user, or viewing the contents of the site as a visitor, you have expressly consented to being subject to this Privacy Policy. This policy describes the types of information that OELP might collect, how OELP might use it and the circumstances in which OELP might disclose or transfer it.

OELP may collect information including but not limited to your age, gender, first and last name, birth date, title, zip code/pin code, occupation, industry,  emographical information, company or any other physical address, contact number, email or other contact information and other relevant data about your use of our services. You will also be asked to create a username and password that will enable you to access your personal account. To confirm your identity, certain steps of verification may be put in place. It is your sole responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your password and account information. OELP cannot be liable for any damage occurring as a consequence of negligence on the part of the user.

As applicable, the information collected by OELP shall be used for following purposes:

  • contact you about a submission you may have made;

1.  We shall endeavor to keep your personal information confidential, and not supply it to any third-party without your consent unless we are obliged or permitted by law to do so

OELP may offer interactive forums such as comments, chat rooms, discussion forums, etc. Any information that is disclosed in these forums becomes public information and you should exercise abundant caution if you decide to disclose your personal information in these forums. Any content, whether copyrightable or not, posted by any user or member of OELP will be public and viewable by all.
3. You acknowledge and agree that the mobile application may use existing software and hardware of the device for providing a better experience while using the mobile application.

OELP has not reviewed all of these third-party sites and does not control and is not responsible for any of these sites or their content. Thus, OELP does not endorse or make any representations about them, or any information, software or other products or materials or advice found there, or any results that may be obtained from using them.
2. Any access of the third-party sites linked to OELP is done entirely at your own risk. It is your responsibility to review the privacy policies of such third-party websites to confirm that you understand and agree with them.

It must also be noted by the user that before using the websites or the name OELP on any other page, site, index, reference or display of information relating to OELP, proper accreditation and prior permission must be taken from OELP failing to do so shall be considered a violation and may attract legal actions.

OELP may store some information such as cookies on your computer when you visit OELP. Protecting the privacy of every minor is especially important to OELP. OELP is not structured to attract minor children less than eighteen (18) years. Accordingly, OELP does not intend to collect Personal Information from anyone OELP knows to be under 18 years. If you are aged under 18, OELP requests that you do not provide OELP with information relating to you or to others. Please seek the guidance of your parent or guardian before using OELP’s services. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who is aged under 18 and you become aware that your child has provided OELP with information without your consent, please contact OELP at contact@oelp.org

OELP reserves the right, at any time, to add, change, update or modify this Policy without any notice to you. Any such change, update, or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on OELP. It is your responsibility to review this Policy from time to time to ensure that you continue to agree with all of its terms.

OELP takes reasonable precautions to maintain the protection of personally identifiable information collected and used in consonance with our Privacy Statement. In addition to technical safeguards, OELP also uses physical controls and procedures to safeguard your personally identifiable information. However, OELP cannot guarantee that it is completely secure from people who might attempt to evade our security measures or intercept transmissions over the Internet.

By agreeing to and accepting the Privacy Policy, you are confirming the fact that you are above 18 years of age and that you meet all other eligibility criteria as set forth by OELP. OELP will not be liable for any adverse consequence arising from the usage of this site after misrepresentation of any information.

Organisation for Early Literacy Promotion (OELP) has been working to improve the quality of Early Literacy and Foundational Learning in rural government primary schools in Rajasthan in 2008. In 2016 government of Rajasthan signed an MOU with OELP to scale the work done in select clusters of Ajmer District to public schools across 7 Special Focus Districts (SFDs) of Rajasthan (14000 schools) in a phased manner. The State also invested money to mass-produce OELP’s pedagogical material and has now distributed these across the 7 SFDs. After completing the ground work for the scale-ups in the Districts of Ajmer and Hanumangarh, OELP is now expanding the implementation across the remaining 6 SFDs over the next three years (till 2022).
